The fee is not for securing you a job placement as we are paid by our clients in Ireland who will be hiring you. THE fee is for access to important clinical educational material relevant to practise in Ireland , guidance towards an error free registration process , preparation for work in Ireland and extensive support after placement .Upon securing a job through us in Ireland we will fully REFUND the fee paid.
We have dedicated moderators and admin members who will reply to your questions on facebook private page and messenger as soon as possible if not within a 2-hour time frame . With this support, we aspire to help you obtain your Irish Medical Council registration the soonest. Our target is to guide you towards achieving the registration within 8 to 10 months if not sooner.
We provide you with vital education needed towards preparing you for life in Ireland. This bit is priceless as there are many instances where culture shock could result in devastating outcomes and doctors being deemed incompetent when they are actually just having a hard time adjusting. Most employers give out 6-month contracts and they can choose to cease your contract anytime within the first 6 months. They could also opt to not renew your contract should they have any concerns. Doctors who do not have their contracts renewed usually face a hard time finding jobs with other employers because of that bad record. Hence the first 6 months of work in Ireland is crucial.
We have a whole section in the education section that addresses this and teaches you how to de-risk your clinical practice. We prepare you psychologically towards working confidently in Ireland months in advance before your actual placement through our educational content. We will organize an orientation session before you come to Ireland with our member doctors in Ireland to give you a head start of the expectations on the ground. We also offer relevant educational material needed for you should you decide to embark on the GP locum roles. This is especially useful for doctors who work as locum GP’s but are not vocationally trained in family medicine. GP practice in a western country has salient differences which can be easily picked up with the right education and guidance. We have educational content for medicolegal, derisking of clinical practise, communication and cultural assimilation for hospital based doctors.
Among other benefits we provide our members is the sourcing of accommodation and helping you sign a lease on an accommodation even before your arrival. We have dedicated staff in ireland who will help source accomodation, Vehicle rental/purchase, sourcing of application forms for the neccesary processes before your arrival.
